About the RoleHeal is hiring a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant to serve as a lead broker-consultant, responsible for revenue generation, account ownership, and strategic client advisory. This role is designed for an experienced benefits professional who can originate, close, and retain business while delivering sophisticated health plan guidance.You will own a book of business, drive new account acquisition, and act as a trusted advisor to employer clients navigating complex healthcare decisions. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through referrals, networking, and outbound effortsLead prospect discovery, proposal strategy, and carrier negotiationsServe as the primary advisor and broker of record for assigned clientsEnsure plan documents, contracts, and compliance requirements are metSkills & Experience5+ years of experience in health & benefits consulting or brokerageActive Life & Health / Life & Disability insurance license (state-specific)Deep knowledge of group health markets, carriers, and funding structuresEducationBachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent industry experience)Compensation & IncentivesCompetitive base salaryCommission and/or bonus tied to revenue and retention performanceComprehensive benefits package (including but not limited to: Medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and flexible paid time off
