SummaryThe Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the company's products and that processes meet the required standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in the automotive industry and a strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards. This role will work for MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC. (MNAe).Essential Functions(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)Conduct overall quality management for assigned customers/itemConduct investigation of defects from customer/internal processConsolidate daily/weekly/monthly quality reportsDevelop and implement quality control procedures and processes for the company's automotive parts productsConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce defectsManage and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, process flow charts, and quality control plansWork closely with production and engineering teams to identify and address quality issues and ensure compliance with industry standardsCoordinate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and implement improvementsConduct audits of the company's quality control system and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards and regulationsTrain and educate staff on quality control procedures, standards, and best practicesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues promptlyBasic Qualifications(The requirements below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:2+ years of experience in manufacturing or automotive production2+ years of experience of reviewing data, error logs, and inspection results to identify root causesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvementPreferred Education & Experience:Having experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on quality control and assuranceKnowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations, including ISO/TS 16949 and IATF 16949Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldFamiliarity with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Working Conditions: Office setting, repetitive standing, walking within and between buildings.
