You'll play a key role in supporting our service technicians, sales team, and customers by ensuring they receive the correct parts and accessories for repairs, maintenance, and vehicle enhancements.The Parts Counter Person is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately identifying, sourcing, and distributing automotive parts. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.Key Responsibilities:Assist customers, service technicians, and sales consultants with parts inquiries in person, over the phone, and via internal communication channelsProcess cash, credit, and other purchasing transactions with accuracy and professionalismUtilize electronic and paper catalog systems to research and locate correct parts and accessoriesClearly explain product features, benefits, pricing, and warranty information to customersSupport inventory management by helping with shipping, receiving, stocking, and maintaining the parts databaseEnsure the parts department remains organized, clean, and fully stockedMaintain a professional appearance and deliver a friendly, helpful, and solution-oriented customer experience at all timesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredOne or more years of experience in an automotive parts department strongly preferredStrong customer service skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with automotive parts catalog systems is a plusValid driver's license with a clean driving recordSchedule: Ability to work Saturdays is a plusTotal Target Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000/annuallyAt Holman, we exist to provide rewarding careers and better lives for employees and their families.
