Unit DescriptionThis unit is a 52 bed Medical unit that provides multidisciplinary care to a wide variety of patient populations. These patients encompass all types of disease processes to include; renal, hepatic, respiratory, cardiac, neurologic, psychiatric, and infectious diseases. We also see a high volume of cellulitis, COPD, diabetes, ETOH withdrawal, pneumonia, sepsis, and many more. Our diverse patient population encompasses the entire adult life with patients as young as 18 up to the geriatric population.ScheduleThree 12-hour shifts per week with a requirement of 1-2 extra shifts per schedule period. Weekends and holidays are part of the expectation per the scheduling policy. Preferred Scheduling utilized.UPDATE: As of 6/12/20, Renown Reserves the right to call off, without penalty, FOUR (4) shifts, or 48 hours, for low census per 13 week contract.
