The Learning Experience Manager is responsible for translating business needs into clear learning solutions, managing a small team of instructional designs, and ensuring learning content is delivered on time, on brand, and ready for the field.Success in this role requires strong project leadership, design capability, and operational judgeent. You will manage intake, prioritize initiatives, delegate work across the team, and personally produce high-quality learning experience is a fast moving environment.This is a hands-on leadership role responsibilities may change without notice.What You’ll Do: Learning Design & Curriculum DevelopmentDesign and develop scalable learning programs for restaurant leaders and hourly team membersProduce high-quality training content including eLearning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, and leadership curriculumCreate visually compelling learning assets that reflect CAVA’s brand standards and support real operational useTranslate operational processes into clear, field-ready training materialsWrite scripts, storyboards, and learning narratives for digital and instructor-led trainingLearning Operations + Project LeadershipOwn the L+D intake process and translate requests into scoped learning projectsPrioritize initiatives for team based on business impact, timelines, and field readinessBuild and manage project plans, milestones, and deliverables for learning initiativesEnsure learning projects move from concept to launch efficiently and on scheduleProactively identify risks, adjust timelines, and communicate project status to stakeholdersLMS Administration + Learning TechnologyOversee LMS administration including course structure, content uploads, reporting, and user experiencePartner with internal stakeholders to ensure learning content is accessible, trackable, and scalableManage vendor relationships and learning technology toolsMaintain LMS content governance and ensure learning materials remain current and effectiveTeam Leadership + Quality ControlLead and mentor a small team of instructional designers and learning specialistsDelegate work appropriately while maintaining ownership of overall project deliveryEstablish quality standards for learning content, ensuring materials are accurate, brand-aligned, and ready for deploymentReview and refine team deliverables before launch to ensure clarity, accuracy, and instructional effectivenessBuild feedback loops to continuously improve learning experiencesCross-Functional PartnershipPartner with Operations, People + Culture, Culinary, Field Training, and other teams to identify learning needs and develop solutionsTranslate complex operational processes into practical training programsSupport new initiatives, product launches, and operational updates through clear learning contentThe Qualifications:5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, or training program managementProven experience leading learning projects from intake through launchExperience managing or mentoring instructional designers or learning specialistsStrong portfolio demonstrating instructional design, curriculum development, and visual learning designExperience producing SCORM-compliant eLearning modulesHands-on experience administering an LMS platformProficiency with authoring and design tools such as Articulate (Storyline and Rise), Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, or similar toolsStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyAbility to translate business needs into clear, actionable learning solutionsStrong written communication skills including scriptwriting, curriculum writing, and learning content developmentExperience working in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsHospitality or restaurant operations training experience preferredSuccess experience is organized, scalable, and easy for teams to useThe learning team delivers high-quality content without constant reworkField leaders receive training that improves execution, not just knowledgePhysical Requirements:Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipmentMust be able to identify, analyze and assess detailsFor certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 poundsAbility to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectivelyConstantly positions self and move
