Program and Project Management Advisor

Job Title Job Description Monitors and evaluates assigned National programs and initiatives. Plans and/or directs complex projects requiring evaluation and identification of a variety of operational problems, evaluating alternative solutions, and recommending appropriate action. Provides expertise, critical analysis, and authoritative advice on the interpretation, development and implementation of policy and measures nationwide. Defines and recommends new programmatic needs or modifications based upon consideration of such factors as the impact of new or anticipated technological developments, legislation, regulatory changes, agency policy, economic conditions, and automated systems capabilities. Leads innovative studies related to assigned programs and projects by introducing a wide range of advanced qualitative or quantitative methods to ensure efficiency, identify problems, and significantly improve program effectiveness. Reviews and evaluates effectiveness of recently implemented process improvements, resolves specific problem areas, and furnishes advice on the adequacy or feasibility of initiatives and recommendations.
