Circuit & Schematic DesignDesign analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic circuits.Develop detailed electrical schematics using industry-standard ECAD tools.Select electronic components based on performance, reliability, availability, and cost requirements.Perform circuit simulations and analysis to validate design functionality.Create and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and engineering change orders (ECOs).PCB Design & DevelopmentDesign and review multilayer PCB layouts for manufacturability and performance.Collaborate with PCB designers to ensure proper component placement, routing, grounding, and signal integrity.Apply best practices for EMI/EMC, thermal management, power distribution, and high-speed signal design.Support prototype builds and design verification activities.Work with contract manufacturers and PCB fabricators to resolve design and manufacturing issues.Product Validation & TestingDevelop and execute test plans for prototype and production hardware.Troubleshoot circuit and system-level issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other laboratory equipment.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for hardware failures.Validate compliance with applicable industry standards and customer specifications.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product development lifecycle.Participate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations.Support new product introductions (NPI) and transition designs into production.Provide technical support for manufacturing, service, and customer applications.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline3+ years of experience in electronic hardware designExperience with PCB schematic capture and design tools such as: Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, Cadence AllegroStrong understanding of analog and digital circuit design
