Scrum Master
Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesFacilitate Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum practices and delivery standards.Track sprint progress using metrics (velocity, burndown).Coach teams on Agile best practices and foster a high-performing environment.Remove impediments, manage risks, and coordinate cross-team dependencies.Partner with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed, prioritized backlog.Ensure clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria.Support stakeholder communication and expectation management.Align delivery with Workday HCM releases and coordinate testing (UAT, system testing).Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and performance monitoring.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.4+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator.Experience with HR systems, preferably Workday HCM.Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Experience leading cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsCSM, PSM, or equivalent certification.Workday implementation or support experience.Familiarity with HR processes (hire-to-retire).Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
