Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
We're working with a mission-focused federal contractor that delivers AWS-aligned cloud, cybersecurity, software engineering, and data modernization solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and federal civilian agencies. They are expanding their team to support high-priority national-security programs, offering a dynamic environment for engineers, architects, and consultants passionate about hands-on work on impactful projects.The Role Design and deploy secure, multi-account AWS Landing Zones in air-gapped and classified regions. Partner with AWS Professional Services and government technical leads, owning architecture decisions. Write Terraform, configure VPCs and Transit Gateways, harden IAM, and deploy logging and audit pipelines. Enable Authority to Operate (ATO) and accelerate cloud-native capability adoption. Produce architecture diagrams, runbooks, and design decision records for ATO body-of-evidence packages.What You'll Need U.S. Citizenship and an active Top Secret / SCI clearance. 5+ years of hands-on AWS engineering experience, including greenfield environment builds. Demonstrated experience designing multi-account AWS architectures and Landing Zone patterns. Advanced AWS networking knowledge: VPC design, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, hybrid DNS. Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation).
