Marina Service Manager

Boatworks Marina is under NEW MANAGEMENT, and we’re looking to expand our team! We're searching for a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to lead our service department. Location: Boatworks Marina, Celoron, NY 88 Boulevard Ave, Celoron, NY 14720 Job Summary: Boatworks Marina is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to lead our service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine services, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a team of service technicians, overseeing daily operations, ensuring the quality of work, and fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate the activities of the service department, including scheduling and assigning tasks to service technicians. - Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards. - Provide leadership, training, and support to the service team, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. - Maintain communication with customers, providing updates on service progress and addressing any concerns. - Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety protocols. - Handle customer inquiries, estimates, and service orders, ensuring timely and accurate billing. Qualifications: - Proven experience in a service management role, preferably in the marine industry. - Strong technical knowledge of boat maintenance and repair. - Excellent leadership and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. - Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. - Knowledge of inventory management and billing processes. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
