Diesel Mechanic
Seeking a Diesel Mechanic for a well-established company!Job duties include:Responsible for performing inspections, services, repairs, and major rebuilds on all forms of mobile equipmentAbility to do preventive and predictive maintenanceAccurate record keeping and extensive use of OEM manuals are requiredWill gather any or all write-ups, look for pre-shift inspectionsChecklist of dutiesArea inspection of work area dailyMonthly hour meter inspections of mobile equipmentHelp count inventory and assist with inventory managementAssist associates when needed with a mobile equipment problemRequirements:High School DiplomaDegree in Diesel Mechanics or equivalent experienceExperience with repairing trucks, heavy equipment, and utility vehiclesAbility to operate and train operatorsCDL air brake license is a plusBasic computer skills requiredStrong judgement and decision making skillsKnowledge of basic stick/wire feed weldingKnowledge of 12 and 24 volt electrical systemsRequired to provide own tool setMust be able to receive clearance for respirator protectionThis position requires heavy lifting, bending, stooping, and climbingApplicants will be background and drug screened for this positionThis company offers great pay based on experience and excellent benefits!
