Material Handler- 2nd Shift

General DescriptionThis position receives, stores and distributes product within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.ResponsibilitiesTransports product to and from designated areas in the facilityEnsure proper storage and retrievalConsolidation of product in locationMove goods packed on pallets or in crates around the facilityReturn overstock to proper locations and stock checksRenter shipment into igus systemStack goods in the correct locations by following inventory control instructionsCheck loads are secureStack empty palletsPerform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s batteryExamine products to verify conformance to quality standardsMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulationsPerform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor or ManagerPhysical DemandsManual dexterity and good eyesight are requiredFrequently lift up to 50 poundsAdjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of timeHaving good eye-hand-foot coordinationAbility to assess weights and judge distances and heightsAbility to work in varying temperatures, depending upon seasonRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrefer candidates with forklift operation experienceReliable attendance recordAbility to work in a fast paced environmentMust be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needsGood math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be requiredHigh degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environmentFollow instructions for operating equipment and keeping recordsExecute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe mannerMaintain a clean & safe environment#INDSJ#INDSJ3:30pm-12am
