Engineering Technician

Job Description Battery Cells are the common denominator for our product. Our product requirements demand ground-up cell architectures with state-of-the-art performance, manufactured at volumes that are orders of magnitude higher than the products they power. We look for anyone with an exceptional ability to solve problems in both individual and team settings. Must Have: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 2 years of hands on experience Flexibility to work in south bay area sites Electrical and thermal fundamentals Ability to collaborate and build test rigs to specifications Troubleshooting skills and experience Nice to Have: Experience with Data Acquisition Systems (DAQ) LabVIEW Welding Fabrication Design experience Process improvement suggestions that lead to actions Cell/module/pack level experience Experience with module or pack level teardowns and inspections Creative problem-solving skills and experience Job Types: Contract, Full-time Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
