Senior Accountant

Job Description Role OverviewThe Senior Internal Recruiter manages full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates across multiple departments. This role works closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to address current and future staffing needs, enhance recruitment strategies, and support workforce planning initiatives. The position reports to the Director of Human Resources.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with leadership to define job requirements and hiring needsSource, screen, interview, and recommend qualified candidatesCoordinate and schedule candidate interviewsNegotiate offers with candidates, hiring managers, and placement agencies within company guidelinesConduct reference checks and verify credentialsDevelop alternative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill rolesPartner with recruitment agencies for temporary and direct hire staffingSupport HR leadership in evaluating and onboarding new agency partnershipsBuild talent pipelines through social media and networking effortsEstablish relationships with local universities to support student recruitmentRepresent the company at job fairs, campus events, and networking opportunitiesMaintain candidate relationships for future hiring needsAnalyze market trends, salary data, and talent availabilitySupport online applicant processes and HR functions as neededEnsure compliance with EEO, ADA, and employment regulationsPerform additional duties as assignedCore CompetenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work with senior leadership and external partnersHigh initiative with strong organizational abilitiesKnowledge of employment laws and recruitment practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office or similar toolsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferredMinimum 4 years of recruiting experience (internal, external, or combined)Work ConditionsExtended periods of sitting and computer useAbility to lift up to 15 pounds when required
