Akkodis is seeking a Designer for a Contract 12+ Months job with a client in Belvidere, IL.Rate Range: $40/hour to $42/hour; on W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Designer Lead new design ideation & development.Develop packaging studies and evaluate to specifications.Ensure gDAP (Design Assurance Plan) & Packaging Checklist/ CS-Routing is completed prior to each release.Ensure Clash & Clearance Computer Aided Design (CAD) Step verification is completed & issues managed.Develop vehicle occupant packages for vehicles.Application of Vehicle Occupant Packaging (VOP) Computer Aided Design (Computer Aided Design (CAD) templates to all programsDesired Qualifications:Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace) from an ABET accredited University.Proficient knowledge of TeamCenter, NX and VisProfessional viewer.
