If you have familiarity and experience in warehouse management, health and safety, process management, and are organized with great people skills, this is the position for you!Responsibilities: Oversee the facilities of the operation to provide a compliant, safe, and well-maintained work environmentCommunicate with local Operations Coordinators and Centralized Operations team to resolve operational issuesAssist with process implementation and training pertaining to operational functionsOwn the push of H&S initiatives at a market levelConduct training in all areas of safetyAssist with onboarding of new associates and ensure timely completion of trainingMaintain the safety and security of the Branch in accordance with OSHA standards and enforce all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization. Build relationships with our customers and associates across departments and customer groupsAssist with incident management, investigation, and reportingHelp with monthly and quarterly facility audits and resolution on any findingsAssist with Fleet, Environmental, and Local/State/Federal Regulation needs and requirementsEngage safety committees and assist with recordkeepingQualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following:Bachelor’s Degree preferredA passion for safety and enthusiasm towards building a First in Safety culture is a must3 - 5 years’ experience handling inventory/operational tasks3 - 5 years' management experienceLeadership and organizational skillsGood judgment and decision-making abilitiesPhenomenal interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to manage a teamA solid understanding of OSHA and DOT regulationsExperience in our industry is a plusA willingness to learn and being able to go above and beyond is a mustAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
