Job Title: General Manager – Boutique Inn & Restaurant (OneSixtyFive ) Location: Brunswick, ME (On-site, Full-time) Job Description (short Indeed version) OneSixtyFive is a 16-room historic inn with an on-site restaurant and bar (Park Row Kitchen) in downtown Brunswick, Maine. We’re looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead daily operations for both the inn and restaurant. The GM is the primary on-site leader and the point person for staff, guests, vendors, and ownership. Responsibilities: Oversee front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, restaurant FOH, and kitchen leadership (with the Executive Chef) Hire, train, schedule, and coach staff; maintain a positive, professional culture Ensure excellent guest experience from booking to checkout; handle escalated issues and online reviews Partner with the Executive Chef and Restaurant/Bar Manager to deliver consistent service, quality, and cleanliness Approve staff hours and submit payroll to the external provider; review and code invoices for bookkeeping Coordinate with the owner, external bookkeeper, and marketing company on financials and promotions Run daily huddles and weekly planning to keep everyone aligned on arrivals, events, and priorities Qualifications: 3+ years as a GM, AGM, or Operations Manager in hospitality Experience in boutique hotels/inns and/or restaurant-with-rooms preferred Strong leadership and guest-service skills; calm under pressure Comfortable with PMS/POS systems and basic Excel/Google Sheets Ability to read a simple P&L and manage labor and basic cost controls Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Compensation: Average Base salary $55,000 per year, depending on experience Performance-based bonus opportunity up to 25% of base salary annually, tied to KPIs (guest satisfaction, revenue, and operations) Potential relocation or modest housing assistance for the right candidate PTO and staff discounts (details discussed during interview) How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief note describing your hospitality leadership experience and why you’re a fit for a hands-on boutique inn + restaurant role in Brunswick.
