Job Overview Position: LPN Location: Newport, VT 05855 Schedule: 7:00 PMto 7:30 AM Tentative Start Date: ASAP Duration: 11 Weeks Contract (36 hours/week) Duties Deliver comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily activities. Support physicians and registered nurses in clinical procedures and patient assessments. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-treatment care. Assist with wound care, injections, and other nursing interventions as required. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the nursing station and treatment areas. Adhere to all health and safety protocols to promote a safe environment for patients and staff. Experience Proven experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse or in a similar healthcare role. Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to effectively support patient care activities. Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards diverse patient needs. Familiarity with healthcare software systems for documentation purposes is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
