Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

General Position Summary:  Conduct and review mental health assessments and necessary follow up services. Review Assessments and Treatment Plans conducted by QMHP’s at minimum annually or designate this task to qualified staff.  Consult with clinic team as needed. Provide diagnostic evaluations as needed, Medication prescribing and follow-up. Work with OPMH clinic team and Behavioral Health Residential team to provide care coordination to clients. Position Details:  Status: Full Time and Part Time available Location: Salem Clinic and/or Eugene ClinicShift Options: Monday - Friday 8 or 10 hours (depending on availability and home needs)Hourly Wage Scale: $55.25 to $70.43  Skill & Effort:  Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of OregonTraining, experience, and demonstrated competence in:Conducting mental health assessmentsProviding psychiatric medication managementPrescriptive authority in the State of OregonActive DEA license (Oregon) or ability to obtain prior to start dateAuthorization to practice as an advanced practice clinician in an outpatient mental health setting in OregonAbility to provide and maintain:Current professional licensureRequired insurance documentation (as applicable)Willingness to undergo license verification with the appropriate State of Oregon licensing boardsKnowledge of and ability to comply with:HIPAAOSHAApplicable federal and state healthcare regulationsAbility to:Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary clinical teamCommunicate effectively in verbal and written form with patients, families, and healthcare professionalsBasic proficiency with:Electronic medical records (EMR)Computer-based clinical documentation systemsShangri-La is willing to consider newly graduated practitioners who meet the minimum licensure and authorization requirements outlined above.  Teamwork: Daily implementation of Shangri-La’s mission, vision and values.
