This role works closely with school leaders, credential candidates, and external partners to ensure participants meet program requirements and grow as effective educators.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCandidate Support & MentorshipProvide coaching and guidance to credential candidates throughout the programConduct regular check-ins to monitor progress and provide feedbackSupport candidates in instructional practice, classroom management, and professional growthBuild positive relationships that encourage candidate success and retentionProgram CoordinationManage program timelines, requirements, and key milestonesTrack progress toward credential completion and maintain accurate recordsEnsure required documentation is complete and submitted on timeCoordinate meetings, trainings, and communication with participantsCollaborationPartner with school leaders regarding candidate placements, support needs, and progressServe as liaison with credentialing institutions and external program partnersSupport continuous improvement of credential program systems and processesQualificationsBachelor’s degree requiredClear single-subject PE credential that has been issued for at least three years Experience in K-12 education, coaching, instructional leadership, or educator developmentStrong organizational and project management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with diverse stakeholdersCommitment to educational equity and student achievementPreferred QualificationsExperience with charter schoolsFamiliarity with California credentialing requirementsExperience mentoring new teachers or residentsEOOACE Charter School is an equal opportunity employer.
