We've delivered thousands of orders across the country. We're growing quickly and behind a simple product is a surprisingly complex operation, with logistics across all 50 states, dynamic pricing, and automated sales. We're builders and we're looking for other builders to join us.What we're buildingWe have a lot of technology driving our business. Things we're building include: e-commerce platform, RockOS our internal system to manage and automate order flow, Chuck our AI sales agent which closes sales end-to-end, Quarry our Slack bot, Dispatch our unified knowledge base and operational tooling layer across 25 systems, automated ad management tools that tie together real-time performance and ad spend, and there's lots more we want to work on. Our goal is to build a fully agentic engineering pipeline.How we workEveryone at Hello Gravel builds. Technical and non-technical teammates both open PRs and ship code.We have an office on Magazine Street in New Orleans (corner of Jackson and Magazine). At our stage, being in the same room lets us move a lot faster, so we're generally in office Monday through Thursday. But we can be flexible with schedules, travel, and life stuff. Just communicate and we can figure it out.RoleYou'll own features end to end, work directly with the founders, and have real say in how things get built. A big part of this role is helping us build and refine our agentic engineering pipeline so the whole team ships faster.What we're looking forYou use AI tools as a real part of how you work, not as a crutch. That's the most important thing.You should also be comfortable with:Building and consuming APIsWorking in a modern JS or Python stackGit, PRs, and basic CI/CDBonus: React, Node.js, BigQuery, Cloudflare, Playwright, or experience with agentic dev workflows (Claude Code, Codex, or similar).CompensationFull-time salaried with healthcare and stock options.We'll talk specifics once we connect.
