As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, the Physical Therapist will contribute professional and clinical expertise in the management and provision of care to patients.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProvide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.\nParticipate in the assessment and development of individualized care plans for patients.\nOffer support and care in acute care settings as needed.\nCollaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.\nDocument patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately using the EPIC electronic medical record system.\nWork with orthopedic, neurological, and safety discharge patients, focusing primarily on their rehabilitation needs.\n\n\nSchedule\nThis position has a start time of 8:00 AM with an expectation of working 36-40 hours per week. You will typically work four days in the outpatient clinic and one day in acute care. Candidates should be prepared to work during summer holidays.\n\nRequirements\n\nMinimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist.\nCompletion of at least one travel contract is preferred.\nExperience working in outpatient settings is required; inpatient experience is preferred.\nProficiency in using EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems is essential.\nMust possess a valid driver's license.\nCurrent BLS certification from an accredited organization.\nApplicants should hold or be willing to apply for a physical therapy license in Iowa.\n\n\nOrientation Schedule\nOrientation is conducted weekly, every Monday.\n\nLocation\nThis position is based in Fort Dodge, IA.\n\nAdditional Information\nThis role may include occasional weekend responsibilities.
