Our employee relationship managers support you throughout your engagement, providing career guidance and reemployment assistance.Our client is currently seeking a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join their team onsite in Hooksett, NH and provide end-user support.Duties and Responsibilities:Be able to account for work using visual task board, ServiceNow Ticket System, and during regular team stand up meetingsRepair, test, image, and clean PC's, laptop, monitors, printers, and other related hardwareMaintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and computer peripheralsAbility to setup, configure, and add all hardwareExperience with asset managementInstall, move, add, and change. Large IMAC events expected for client printer migration and PC refreshesAssure that all tickets requiring follow up work and / or calls receive appropriate attentionAssist with installations, configurations, upgrades, patch, and other maintenance activities of server equipmentPerform backup, recovery, and security procedures both planned or during emergencyFollow established procedures to detect, diagnose, and accurately report outage of critical site applicationsAssist with diagnoses of network hardware and performance problemsPerform approved installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical networkPerform network system administration task both planned or during emergencyComfortable with face-to-face interactions as will be required to provide technical support to end users in-person at the customer siteBack up and burn end user dataAssist in developing and documenting improvements to current processesAssist other coworkers in resolution of end users' technical issues across the programAssist Site Leader in the execution of established processes and escalationsSkills and Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting PC Hardware and softwareBasic network troubleshooting plus comfortability to act as smart hands for infrastructure issues requiredIdeally, experience supporting in an engineering and / or manufacturing enterprise environmentExperience working in enterprise environmentAbility to handle multiple projectsUses a confident, positive attitude to deliver great customer experiences and to be invigorated by constant personal interactionHigh energy candidates are desired given fast-paced environmentDeep understanding of diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing PC / laptop hardware internal components (motherboard, hard drives, RAM, CPU), and understanding of troubleshooting PC software (Windows blue-screen, Outlook, connect network printers)Working experience or strong understanding of enterprise technologies (Office 365, Win10 Professional, imaging, and ticketing systemsHaving experience supporting applications related to engineering, manufacturing, and logistics is a plusSoft skills requiredAbility to work with strong personalitiesMust be dependable: both to get work done independently, and for attendance for availability to work scheduled hoursTrusted to work proactively is a key attribute given limited site IT LeadershipEnergetic, professional, heads-down, social, and process driven personality works well in this environmentWage Range :The rate for this position is between $17.25 - $23.00 per hour , unless local minimum wage is higher.
