Each year, MercyFirst serves more than 3,000 children, teenagers and families overcome enormous obstacles, re-imagine their futures and develop their full potential.Program BackgroundThe children in this group home are girls ages 13-17, who have experienced serious trauma, often including physical and emotional abuse, neglect, and abandonment. In our small group home, we can give each youth individual attention and focus on providing a wide array of services, clinical therapies including art therapy and appropriate recreation opportunities all in a setting where the youth can thrive. Our goal is to help our children heal from the past while learning the skills needed for their future.Position SummaryUnder the supervision of the assigned Program Manager, the Transportation Worker provides transportation for our clients in whatever capacity is necessary. Shifts assigned may vary and change according to Agency needs.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record for most positions.No specific experience is required; however, prior experience with children and adolescents is preferred.
