Elk Run Vineyard is a second-generation, family-run winery and one of the oldest in Maryland. We specialize in traditional Bordeaux-style wines made from grapes grown on our estate. Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment that feels like visiting family—not a commercial winery.Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Operations & Hospitality Manager to oversee our tasting room, lead events (both on-site and off-site), and manage our customer experience and marketing presence. This is a leadership role with significant impact on the growth of the business.Responsibilities:Oversee daily tasting room operations and guest experiencePlan, coordinate, and execute on-site and off-site eventsHire, train, and schedule tasting room and event staffRepresent Elk Run at off-site events, festivals, and tastingsManage social media (Instagram, Facebook)Update website and maintain online presenceCreate and send email marketing campaignsTrack event performance, sales, and customer engagementCompensation & Perks:$65,000–$70,000 base salaryPerformance bonuses (events, wine club signups, sales)Flexible, growth-oriented roleEmployee wine discountsQualifications:Experience in hospitality, events, or marketingStrong leadership and organizational skillsComfortable managing multiple priorities in a small businessOutgoing, personable, and customer-focusedWeekend and evening availability required
