This role is pivotal in creating and nurturing sustainable and profitable claims administration partnerships with insurance carriers, managing general agents, and captive managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently pursuing new business, developing and executing multi-year target account strategies, and engaging with key prospects to ensure the brand is positively represented in the marketplace. This position requires a professional with a strong background in the insurance industry, particularly in carrier functional areas such as claims, underwriting, IT, and business development. The role demands a leader with exceptional relationship management skills, the ability to drive sales growth, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Candidates for the Vice President - Business Development role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, insurance, or a related field, and a minimum of 7 years of experience in sales within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a history of building and maintaining senior-level client relationships, exceptional leadership and team management skills, and the ability to navigate complex buying processes. Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities are essential, as is the capacity to work with cross-functional teams. The role also requires proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to use data to support business decisions.
