Charter Sales / Flight Operations Specialist / Dispatcher

This position is unique. It combines the specialized knowledge of the aviation field with the nuances of charter sales. The <\/span>charter sales and flight operations support team is the first contact many clients will have with our company. We expect you to <\/span>deliver exceptional customer service to all of our clients and aircraft owners from the first point of contact. <\/span>The right person will be motivated and know how to learn. You will work with elite and demanding clients in a fast-paced yet <\/span>extremely detail-focused environment. In our business and with our clients, we care about every detail, and every detail must <\/span>be right.<\/span><\/span><\/div> <\/div> Responsibilities: <\/div> * Apply aircraft performance and direct operating cost to the quoting <\/span>process.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Apply world-wide regulations to the quoting process.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Provide accurate quotes as requested.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Provide expertise when adjusting pricing and discounting rates.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Source off-fleet options for direct clients when a preferred aircraft in fleet <\/span>is not available.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* M<\/span>aintain strong relationships with the existing client base.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends to provide <\/span>competitive quotes and win trips.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Work cross functionally with flight operations support.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Maintain the elite level of service our clients expect from us.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Represent the Cirrus brand with the highest degree of professionalism.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Schedule and plan domestic and international in accordance with FAA <\/span>regulations, world-wide regulations, company process and procedures, <\/span>and performance restrictions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* E<\/span>nsure efficient aircraft and crew utilization to achieve the highest profit <\/span>margin on each flight. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Continually monitor weather/NOTAMS/ATC for any impact to the flight <\/span>operation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Collaborate with maintenance, crew scheduling, and flight operations on <\/span>any issues that might impact the operation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Pre-Flight briefing with PIC and all crew notifications as they pertain to <\/span>the operation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Make tactical changes as needed to mitigate client impact from delays <\/span>due to weather, ATC, or maintenance issues.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Flight Following <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Irregular Operations<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* Assign daily crew duty. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>* First point of contact in the event of an accident or incident involving <\/span>Cirrus aircraft.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li><\/ul> <\/div><\/span> Requirements<\/h3>Bachelor\'s degree required or equivalent aviation certifications.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>Aircraft Dispatcher\'s license preferred but not required<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>Minimum of 1 year experience in Part 135 or Part 121 Flight Operations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>Must be able to pass a 20 year TSA/DHS background check.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>Must have a valid driver\'s license<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>Must have a thorough understanding of the Part 135 environment and the<\/span> ability to comfortably navigate within.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>Must have a thorough understanding of world-wide regulations as they <\/span>apply to Part 91/Part 135 charter.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/li>Must be confident and comfortable speaking with external and internal <\/span>clients, remaining calm in stressful situations. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
