Project Manager
Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to join their Los Angeles office, leading tenant improvement and retail construction projects across Southern California. This role is responsible for managing full project lifecycles — from preconstruction through closeout — on a diverse portfolio of commercial interiors work ranging from corporate TI to high-end retail environments.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing role, brings strong organizational instincts, and has a track record of delivering complex interior projects on time and on budget within occupied and active retail settings.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end delivery of tenant improvement and retail construction projects across the LA marketLead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor procurementServe as the primary client point of contact, maintaining strong relationships with owners, landlords, architects, and retail brand representativesCoordinate design development, permit procurement, and landlord approval processesTrack project costs, change orders, and billing to ensure financial performanceCollaborate closely with field Superintendents to align on schedule, logistics, and quality expectationsManage multiple projects simultaneously across various stages of constructionIdentify and mitigate risks proactively throughout the project lifecycleEnsure compliance with all applicable building codes, landlord criteria, and brand standardsSupport business development efforts through client retention and referral relationshipsQualifications4+ years of Project Management experience in commercial constructionProven experience delivering tenant improvement and/or retail projects in the Los Angeles marketFamiliarity with LA permitting processes, landlord coordination, and local subcontractor relationshipsStrong understanding of interior finishes, MEP systems, and construction sequencingProficiency in project management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS ProjectExperience managing project budgets and subcontractor scopes from bid through closeoutExcellent communication, organizational, and client management skillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience consideredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus potentialComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid time off and company holidaysProfessional development support and growth opportunities within a growing regional office
