Access Control System Engineer

Role: Access Control Engineer Location: Onsite in Washington DC (Locals Preferred) Duration: 24 Months Required skills: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering Experience with Pro-Watch 4.5 or similar access control systems Experience with NeverFail Continuity Engine Experience with Jazz Experience with SharePoint Experience with Windows Server Experience with SQL Server Strong understanding of computer systems, architecture, and software development principles Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes including planning, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment Ability to develop logical structures for solving complex computational problems Experience with updating, repairing, modifying, and expanding existing programs Knowledge of programming techniques and best practices Skill in preparing flowcharts and diagrams to represent program operations Analytical skills to understand and apply computer capabilities and symbolic logic to program design Effective communication skills for collaborating with supervisors, department representatives, and end-users Familiarity with structured analysis and design methodologies Job Type: Contract Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: Washington, DC 20001 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Washington, DC 20001: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
