2nd Shift Saw Operator

*Job Summary* We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 2nd Shift Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a Kasto saw to produce precise metal components according to technical specifications. Your expertise in machine operation, measurement, and safety standards will ensure high-quality output and efficient production processes. Equal opportunity employee. *ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * · Operate saw equipment to cut metal and other materials to specified dimensions · Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and cut lists · Measure and mark materials accurately prior to cutting · Ensure all cuts meet required tolerances and specifications · Inspect materials for defects and report any issues · Maintain and monitor saw equipment, reporting maintenance needs as necessary · Load and unload materials using proper equipment and techniques · Keep accurate records of materials cut and used · Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area · Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines · Assist with other shop or warehouse duties as needed *SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:* · High school diploma or GED preferred · Previous experience operating saws or machine shop equipment preferred · Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions · Strong attention to detail and accuracy · Basic math and measuring skills · Ability to operate forklifts and cranes, or willingness to be trained (if applicable) · Ability to work independently and as part of a team *PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:* · Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds · Frequent standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift · Work performed in a machine shop environment with moderate noise levels · Exposure to moving machinery and cutting equipment · Use of PPE required at all times Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Flexible schedule * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Paid time off * Profit sharing * Vision insurance Shift availability: * Night Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: * Irwin, PA 15642 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
