Spare Part AssistantREYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Spare Parts Assistant – Manufacturing Spare Part in Winston Salem, NC, USA.The Spare Parts Assistant is responsible for managing and identifying recommended spare parts for manufacturing equipment. This role supports Engineering, Functional Projects, and Operations by addressing plant-level losses and driving improvement initiatives.The position includes responsibilities including the equipment spare parts, local stocking strategies, and continuous improvement while supporting broader management objectives to achieve Safety, Quality, and Performance targets. A key expectation is to foster and maintain high levels of employee engagement.The Spare Parts Coordinator must be proficient in SAP and MDG Hub, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to understand business strategies.Key Responsibilities:Ensure all Company policies and procedures are adhered to ensuring compliance to standards, regulatory, and global requirementsDrive Safety requirements with goals to drive continuous improvements while meeting all regulatory and company requirementsExecute strategic plans to optimize equipment spare partsWork directly with OEMs and 3rd party vendors to ensure spare parts availability meet requirementsExecute collaboration with relevant maintenance and production teams to assess equipment spare parts requirements and ensure successful fulfilmentTrack KPIs to monitor and trend local stocking strategiesSupport localized sourcing initiatives to reduce lead times, improve supply reliability, and optimize costIdentify obsolete spares available for write offEssential Experience, Skills and KnowledgeHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to work efficiently, be pro-active, and communicate effectively with team members and management.Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on technical solutionsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to manufacturing equipment.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Self-motivated, highly engaged, flexible, and receptive to change.Beneficial3+ years work experience in maintenance and manufacturingInventory ManagementProject ManagementExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsSAP/CMMS experienceBelonging, Achieving, TogetherHave you been on a career break for 18 months or longer?
