A well-established, midsize manufacturing company in Sioux Falls is seeking an experienced Controller to join its executive leadership team.The company employs approximately 120+ employees and serves both local and national customers. The OpportunityThe Controller will oversee the company's accounting function, lead an established team of 5 direct reports, and serve as a key financial partner to executive leadership.This position will be responsible for financial reporting and controls while also playing a major role in improving the company's job costing, WIP, reporting, and business systems.Key Responsibilities:Lead and develop the existing accounting teamOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation and reviewManage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reportingDevelop and improve job costing and project profitability reportingOversee WIP tracking, inventory costing, and financial controlsEvaluate and help implement a new ERP/business systemDevelop financial KPIs and reporting tools for leadershipPartner with operations and executive management on financial performance and strategic business decisionsIdentify opportunities to improve margins, processes, controls, and overall profitabilityQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience preferredController, Assistant Controller, or senior-level accounting leadership experienceManufacturing, fabrication, construction, or other job-costing environment experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of job costing, WIP, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reportingERP/business system implementation or improvement experience is highly valuedCPA or CMA preferred, but not requiredStrong leadership, analytical, and communication skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary based on experience10% performance and profit-based bonus opportunity401(k) with 100% company match up to 4%Health, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid time offAdditional standard company benefits If you are interested in this Controller role for the Sioux Falls area, please apply!Or you can email Zach@solidrockrecruiting.com with a copy of your resume for further confidential consideration!
