Whether the goal is to enhance current infrastructure or embark on a new innovative energy project, DEA has the expertise to see it through to completion and deliver a more resilient future.The Substation Practice is seeking a Bonneville Power Administration Client Team Leader (CTL), responsible for senior-level ownership of the BPA relationship and leadership of power delivery market growth across Oregon and Washington.This role combines strategic client leadership, market strategy, and business development, with hands-on involvement in pursuits and select project oversight. The BPA CTL serves as the primary Principal in Charge for BPA and a recognized leader in the Pacific Northwest power market.What You’ll DoKey Responsibilities:BPA Client LeadershipServe as senior sponsor and relationship owner for BPALead the BPA Client Team and coordinate cross-business unit deliveryManage the overall BPA client experience and long-term relationship strategyForecast BPA sales, revenue, and staffing needsEnsure profitability, favorable contract terms, and successful collectionsMarket & Business DevelopmentLead proposal development, proposals, presentations, and negotiationsIdentify and pursue BPA-specific and regional utility opportunitiesCollaborate across business units to deliver integrated solutionsProject & Team LeadershipServe as Principal-in-Charge, Client Team Leader, or Project ManagerOversee power delivery projects, including substations, transmission, and studiesEnsure quality, schedule, budget, and risk management standards are met or exceededCoach project managers and support project recovery when neededWhat You BringRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or related field), or equivalent experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseMinimum 15+ years of experience in power delivery or utility consultingProven success leading utility client relationshipsStrong leadership and strategic planning skillsPreferred QualificationsDirect experience working with BPAEstablished relationships with Pacific Northwest utilitiesExperience with Alternative Project Delivery (APD) or EPC/EPCM projectsRecognized industry presence and thought leadershipExcellent communication skillsWhat We OfferWe foster an environment where talented professionals have the freedom and support to do their most meaningful work.
