Executive in Residence - Healthcare

Job OverviewPlan A Technologies is seeking an Executive in Residence (EiR) for our Healthcare practice. This is a high-impact, 6 month residency designed for a C-suite leader (former CTO, CIO, or CEO) who has spent their career at the intersection of healthcare and technology.This role is part time – usually under 15 hours per week commitment. There are two components to the role: first, you’ll be providing high-stakes technology advice to existing clients and potential clients, and second, you’ll set up introductions to companies like health systems, payers, pharma companies, and health tech innovators.Please note: Business development work is a required component of this position.Responsibilities:Strategic Advisory: Act as a senior advisor to help clients solve critical technology challenges, from digital health transformation to HIPAA-compliant cloud migrations and AI driven clinical tools.Partnership Development: Leverage your deep industry network to cultivate new strategic partnerships with health systems, insurance providers, and medical technology firms.Strategic Growth: Advise the Plan A leadership team on market trends in the healthcare sector (e.g., value-based care, telehealth, and data analytics) to help shape our service offerings.Thought Leadership: Represent Plan A in high-level discussions and industry forums, contributing your expertise to help solve the most pressing challenges in the healthcare ecosystem.Experience & Qualifications:Industry Tenure: At least 15 years of deep expertise in healthcare, especially with healthcare technology.Leadership Pedigree: You must have served as a CTO, CIO, or CEO at a major health system, insurance provider, pharmaceutical company, or high-growth health-tech firm.Deep Network: A large, active network of close relationships across hospital C-suites, private equity groups, medical device manufacturers, biotech companies, etc.Technical Fluency: Profound understanding of healthcare-specific software development, including EHR integrations and the security protocols required for sensitive patient data.Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required for both thought leadership content and high level stakeholder discussions.About The Company/BenefitsPlan A Technologies is a fast-growing software engineering and technology advisory company with staff in 40 countries around the world.
