Procurement Analyst SeniorBAE Systems, Adaptive Communications & Sensing is actively seeking an experienced Supply Chain Professional to join the Indirect Procurement Organization. As a Procurement Analyst Senior, you will procure specialized materials, equipment, supplies and services based on program specific requirements and specifications, in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Procurement Analyst Senior will be responsible for the complete acquisition lifecycle: able to analyze purchase requisitions, initiate RFQs/RFPs, review bids, select vendors, negotiate terms and conditions, and pricing of materials or services to be procured and issue/manage subsequent purchase orders.
Additional responsibilities includes:
Develop, support and execute sourcing strategies, to include development of savings
Develop new and manage existing supplier relationships
Lead formal negotiations
Execute Long Term Agreements/Blanket Agreement
Coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoices/payment issues to ensure prompt payment and avoid delays
Coordinate with Receiving departments to resolve receipt issues
Maintain communication with suppliers during course of procurement process
Work closely with management and Procurement personnel, as well as cross-functionally with other departments
Ability to prepare reports and documentation
Ability to perform effectively and independently
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Ability to work and succeed in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical skills
Superior communication skills
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe PDF
Excellent organizational skills
Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Minimum four (4) years experience with Bachelor's degree in a related field (six additional years of purchasing experience in lieu of a degree)
Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $90304 - $153517 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
