Job Description
Job SummaryThe Industrial Maintenance Electrician is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and continuous operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and production equipment. The core focus of this role is troubleshooting, identifying, diagnosing, and correcting electrical issues quickly and safely to minimize downtime.Electricians at all levels are expected to work independently and contribute to equipment reliability across the plant.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on production and facility systemsTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 600V, including 3-phase power, motors, and control panelsInstall, terminate, and route conduit, wire, and cable according to electrical code and standardsMust be highly proficient with the use of a digital multimeter (DMM)Ability to check voltage safely on energized systems, accurately ohm-test fuses and components, trace wiring and read schematics confidently and independently.Assist in PLC troubleshooting, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and other platformsFollow all lockout/tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety proceduresMaintain accurate records using the computerized maintenance management systemWork collaboratively with other departments to minimize equipment downtimeMust have hands-on experience working with variable frequency drives (VFDs)
