Today, Weldall is still family owned and operated by three generations and has grown into the preferred manufacturer of choice for clients around the world through industry-leading innovation and a commitment to quality.Why Work at Weldall?In addition to the role itself, employees choose Weldall because we offer:Family-owned and operated leadership for over 50 years, with a long-term commitment to our peopleA stable work environment supported by a diverse customer base across multiple industriesWorld-class benefits, including direct primary care at no cost, free diagnostic testing, and select surgical proceduresNo employee premiums for dental or vision coverageStructured onboarding and internal training programs that support skill development and long-term career growthA safety-first, team-oriented culture built on consistency, respect, and professionalismEssential Duties and Responsibilities(Including the following, however, additional duties may apply as required)Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible mannerSet up and operate burn table equipment using fuel gas and plasma cutting processesSet up and perform bevel cutting using fuel gas bevel cutting tipsSet up and burn structural shapes and three-dimensional parts in accordance with work instructionsPerform oxygen piercing as required for cutting operationsSet up, adjust, and operate CNC programs for cutting operationsCalculate and adjust cutting speeds based on material type, thickness, and tooling requirementsAdjust burning setup to minimize dross buildup and ensure parts meet quality and welding requirementsRead and interpret drawings, shop orders, and work instructions to complete jobs to specificationVerify correct quantity and cut quality of parts producedPerform first-piece and random dimensional inspections using measuring instruments and gaugesDocument inspection results and manage quality documentation as required by customer specificationsUse measuring tools and gauging devices to monitor work in progress and verify final product dimensionsIdentify and report quality issues, equipment concerns, or process improvements to supervisionMaintain burn table equipment, tools, and work area in a clean, safe, and serviceable conditionWork collaboratively with supervisors and team members; take notes, ask questions, and provide input to improve processes Requirements: Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience operating burn tables or similar cutting equipmentExperience with either fuel gas cutting or plasma cutting required; experience with both preferredProgram editing experience preferredAbility to read drawings and use measuring tools to verify part dimensionsPhysical DemandsThe employee is required to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Job duties require frequent reaching, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment and tools. The position may require moving or transferring materials using overhead cranes, forklifts, or stand-up equipment. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required on an occasional basis.
