Known for our approachable beers and vibrant brand, we’re one of the fastest-growing craft breweries in the Northeast with multiple NYC taprooms and expanding distribution.The RoleThe Packaging & Cellarperson is a key member of the TALEA Beer production team, responsible for maintaining the quality and consistency of beer throughout the cellar process and executing all packaging operations. This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about TALEA’s mission to create an inclusive brewery with totally different, easy-to-love beers.We value autonomy, ambition, grit, and an insatiable desire to exceed expectations while producing phenomenal beer.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all routine cellar tasksOperate our Wild Goose canning line, responsible for quality control, line setup, running, and breakdown. Troubleshoot line issues and escalate equipment faults promptlyMaintain accurate cellar and packaging logsPalletize, wrap, and organize finished goods for storage or dispatchAssist with finished goods organization, stock rotation, and inventory accuracy, support order picking and packingSupport the brewing team during busy production periods as neededMust Haves2+ years of packaging and/or cellaring experienceHas a positive, optimistic attitude and is professional and fun, especially in high-stress situationsForklift Certified a plusWilling and able to work a variable shift schedule that is dependent upon the operational needs of the breweryConsidered a plusExperience with Wild Goose canning lines and GEA CentrifugesValid driver's licenseSalaryEstimated salary range: $60,000 - $67,000Benefits And Perks25 days paid PTO50% of medical, dental, vision insurance coverage401k matching4 months paid parental leaveTo ApplyEmail brewing@taleabeer.com to apply, or apply through Brewbound.
