Logistics Specialist

Valgroup is hiring a Logistics Specialist to support our manufacturing facility in Findlay, Ohio. We are one of the largest plastics producers and recyclers in the world. What you will do: Plan and scheduled daily outbound shipments for finished materials to meet the due date desired by customer’s needs. Prepare shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading, export paperwork, etc.) Supports business relationships with vendors. Ensure shipments will be shipped out as requested Supports overall efficiency building efforts within the department including technology use, record keeping, and team building. Understand and manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including minimizing obsolescence. Apply good manufacturing practices for warehouse housekeeping. Operate forklift as needed. Other duties as assigned. Skills needed for success: Education - Highschool Diploma or equivalent 1 or more years experience in a manufacturing logistic setting Microsoft Suite - Excel skills, Word, SharePoint, Outlook Strong Communication Skills - Strong written and verbal communication abilities for effective interaction with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional departments Organizational Skills - Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and Strong attention to detail and time management SAP experience a plus TMS experience a plus Why you should work with us!
