Apply via Dice today!Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Advanced Battery SystemsLocation: Multiple locations, USA - Requires 50% Travel Both CoastsCompensation: $120-170k + Equity + Comprehensive BenefitsWe're partnered with a heavily backed, industry-leading electric aviation firm to find an innovative Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their battery manufacturing team.This is a mission critical role focused on the design, development and industrialisation of high-voltage battery modules. You will be instrumental in scaling battery production from prototype and low volume builds through to high volume commercial production - leading the way across the industry.Operating in a fast paced, highly innovative environment, your ideas and process improvements will have an immediate visible impact on the company's ability to deliver next-generation aircraft.You will be: Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment, tools, and workstations for battery module production. Direct and participate in program-level strategy decisions to successfully transition battery builds from prototype to series production. Partner closely with Product Design and Test engineering teams to ensure design for manufacturability and seamless process development. Author detailed Manufacturing Execution System procedures and collaborate directly with the production floor to support training and execution. Own and optimize existing procedures to drive efficiency, quality and scale.You will have: Experience manufacturing complex electromechanical or battery systems within advance mobility. Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals with a proven track record of taking products from prototype to production. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. Willingness to travel up to 50% to support production sites and supply chain partners.
