Application Developer

Position title: Application DeveloperOffice location: Onsite PreferredContract engagement: YesContract length: Initial 3–4 Week Contract (Potential Extension up to 6 Months)POSITION SUMMARY:We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to provide short-term coverage. This individual will step into an existing application environment and immediately support ongoing development, data integration, reporting, and system maintenance. The ideal candidate has strong .NET development experience and can contribute with minimal training.PROJECT INFORMATION:The contractor will support existing business applications by maintaining .NET applications, supporting data integrations, managing API connections, and maintaining SSRS reports. This role requires someone who can quickly understand an existing environment and keep critical applications running.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain and enhance existing .NET applications.Support data integrations between business applications.Develop and troubleshoot API calls and data synchronization processes.Create, modify, and maintain SSRS reports.Troubleshoot application, integration, and reporting issues.Work independently with minimal supervision to support day-to-day application needs.Document updates and communicate project status with internal stakeholders.QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of .NET application development experience.Experience with data integration and API development.Experience with SQL Server (SQL queries, stored procedures, database objects).Experience creating and maintaining SSRS reports.Ability to quickly learn an existing application environment with little or no training.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
