Other expectations may include:Cleaning:Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors, furniture, restrooms, and other surfacesSanitizing:Disinfecting surfaces, restrooms, and commonly used itemsTrash removal:Taking out the trash and recyclingMaintenance:Performing minor repairs, such as replacing light bulbs or unclogging toiletsSafety:Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, and notifying supervisors of unsafe conditionsInventory:Maintaining cleaning and maintenance supplies, and placing orders for new productsOutdoor maintenance:Removing litter, snow, and debris from sidewalksand parking areaWindow cleaning:Washing windows, glass partitions, and mirrorsCarpet cleaning:Steam-cleaning or shampooing carpetsEquipment operation:Operating floor scrubbers and other equipmentWhat You Bring To The TeamPrevious janitorial or custodial experience for a large facility such as a warehouse, school district, airport, shopping center, etc. is helpful but not required.Training is providedHigh school diploma or GEDAble to work as part of a team with a great attitudeHigh standards for following instructions, detailed work, and work qualityAble to stand for extended periods and move about the facility as neededAble to work with minimal supervisionSelf-motivated, self-disciplined, and organizedAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMust be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the futureWhat's In It For YouEntry-level to experiencedjanitorial positionCompetitive Wage: $20-24/hrOn-the-job training and advancement opportunitiesShift: Monday Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pmThree weeks of paid time off.
