Route Relief Utility Driver

ClassificationNon-exemptThe Route Relief Utility Driver supports the Service Departments in its objectives to meet our customers' needs through up-selling, cross-selling, and providing excellent customer service. This position reports directly to the District Manager.You Will:Deliver products and pick up soiled linens on assigned routes safely and on time.Provide outstanding customer service to build loyalty and strong relationshipsCommunicate with decision-makers and proactively resolve service concernsFollow Service SOPs for installations, deliveries, and account managementMaintain accurate inventories, route books, and customer filesHandle customer payments, credits, and change orders accuratelyMonitor accounts and report customer feedback or competitive activityUpsell services, promote products, and refer leads to SalesConduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck cleanlinessLoad/unload products and move carts up to 500 lbs. and lift up to 75 lbs.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and dress codeCollaborate with service, sales, and operations teams as a reliable relief driverWhat You Bring:Have and maintain a valid Driver's License, CDL when applicable, and be 21 years or older.Maintain a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety or other violationsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English, comprehend and follow direction.Two years of relevant experience in sales, customer service, delivery, or public facing work.Support for other service team members where required.Work Environment and Requirements:Accurately recognize colors and sizesStoop, pull, push, reach overhead, lift up to 75 lbs. and move loaded carts up to 500 lbs.Daily operation of vehicles on public roads, in and out of customer locations, loading areas of industrial laundry facilities, service centers, or depot.Indoor and outdoor areas of industrial laundry facilities.Our Benefits:401 K Plan with Company MatchMedical, Dental, Vision, and FSA/HSALife Insurance, Disability InsuranceVacation, Sick Time, HolidaysEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Benefits may vary for positions covered by a collective bargaining agreement.For a general description of benefits that are being offered for this position, please visit alsco.com/benefits.About Us:We are Alsco Uniforms.
