Job Title: Engineering Technologist IVDuration: 12-Month Contract Location: Charlotte, NC 282021. Describe your hands-on experience using AutoCAD Civil. What types of drawings or deliverables have you supported, and how frequently do you use these tools?2. Have you supported technical or design work for utilities or power infrastructure projects?QualificationsAdvanced to expert level experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D for Site Development design and draftingExperience completing hydrology calculations using modeling software or other methods (i.e., spreadsheets, hand calculations)Experience using Autodesk suite of tools, specifically Autodesk Vault for drawing library managementAbility to manage and balance multiple projects at one time.Familiarity with EPA SPCC requirementsExperience reviewing and updating SPCC plansUtility experience, preferably Transmission and/or Distribution workPE license in NC and SCExperience reviewing work by external consultants to ensure compliance with internal standards/specs.Description Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of routine problems in area of expertiseAssists in the accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities under the guidance of higher-level employeesPrepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches associated with the resolution of routine technical problemsConducts basic engineering studies requiring little evaluation or ingenuityPossesses knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and proceduresDevelops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activitiesDemonstrates effective oral and written communication skillsMaintains accurate records and filesSupports the company's goals and represents the company positively and professionallyEffectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied
