Electronics Assembler
Summary:
This position is responsible for leading electronics testing and assembly of Avionics and
Li-Ion battery flight units flown on rockets, missiles, aircraft, UAS and small satellites.
Responsibilities:
Ability to build power, data I/O and RF cables.
Ability to read electrical schematics and perform wiring and assembly
Ability to make electrical measurements in circuits (voltage, resistance and
current)
J-STD-001 soldering on PCB with surface mount and thru hole component
Required Competencies:
Experience
2-10 years of experience in the following areas: Electronics assembly and test of
flight units with power, data and RF cables.
Technical Skills
Electrical/Electronics component theory and identification
Soldering of PCB components (surface mount and thru hole)
Electronics assembly of unit power, data and RF cables for flight units
Computer (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Soft Skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Education
High School Diploma
A.S. degree in electronics or equivalent military training (military, etc.) preferred.
Desired Competencies:
Technical Skills
Experience in electronics/electrical testing
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel. etc.)
Electronics Assembly
Certification
Soldering, J-STD-001with Space Addendum
Electrical/Electronics training
Personal Requirements
