Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, CCC-SLP (Part-Time, After School)
Cutting Edge Pediatric and Adult Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and passionate fully licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This is a part-time position with a schedule availability for after-school hours/afternoons.

Cutting Edge Pediatric and Adult Therapy offers ST, OT, PT, ABA, and counseling for patients, ages birth-30, in a highly collaborative and fun, sensory-focused setting. Therapists can easily incorporate movement and sensory activities into treatment sessions, using our engaging therapy gyms, sensory light room, and on our playground. Teenagers and young adults at our facility have the unique opportunity to work on daily living activities and vocational activities in our on-site apartment, mock grocery store, and our on-site coffee shop. Key Responsibilities
Evaluate client’s current therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status.
Direct and implement speech therapy treatment plan of care.
Integrate feeding therapy into individualized treatment plans
Participant in the development of clients' total multidisciplinary plan of care.
Regularly re-evaluate client progress and revise the plan of care as necessary.
Initiation of the speech therapy program and assist relevant persons in certain phases of speech therapy in which they may work with the client.
Submit accurate clinical notes regarding patient evaluation and attainment of goals.
Monitor clients for reactions to treatment or changes in condition, discuss changes with the patient/family/caregiver, and report changes as necessary.
Assist the caregivers, families, or other healthcare personnel in providing continuity of care.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal and certification requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipate future legislation; enforce adherence to requirements; advise management on needed actions.
The qualified candidate will also:
Assist in developing strategic and long-range plans for the program. May also be required to participate in case reviews, exit staffing, medical and school consultation staffing, and school multidisciplinary team/staffing.
Be adept at integrating feeding therapy into individualized treatment plans.
Contribute to department growth through developing and conducting in-service training programs.
Promote knowledge of innovation in the field of pediatric Speech Therapy by keeping advised of new medical research and treatment modalities and inspiring others to do the same.
Be self-directed and able to work with little supervision.
Exhibit good oral and written communication skills.
Seek and obtain sufficient information necessary to function in a progressive clinic setting.
Flexible yet organized with the ability to exercise independent and sound judgment.
Professional Qualifications
Graduate of a nationally accredited Master’s program in Speech-Language Pathology.
Granted a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Licensed in the state of Texas to practice.

Physical Requirements
Extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
Lifting, positioning, and/or transferring clients, including participation in physical activities and play-based therapies.
Ability to lift up to a minimum of 50 pounds.

Salary Information
Hourly treatment rate starting at $43.00 per treatment hour depending on experience.
