This role is pivotal in accelerating OCI's digital transformation initiatives within its global supply chain operations. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Data Automation, Supply Chain, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced data platforms, AI-enabled automation, predictive analytics, and operational intelligence solutions. The goal is to improve efficiency, scalability, and decision-making capabilities across OCI's rapidly expanding supply chain organization. As a senior individual contributor, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, Capacity Planning, Data Center Operations, and Engineering to develop intelligent automation workflows, operational dashboards, machine learning models, and data products that enable proactive supply chain management. This position requires a combination of deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven insights.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background complemented by extensive experience in data science, machine learning, data engineering, or related fields. Minimum qualifications include:8+ years of professional experience in data science, data engineering, automation, or related technical roles.Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.Master’s degree in a similar discipline with 2+ years of experience, or a Doctorate with relevant expertise.Proficiency in SQL and Python for developing data pipelines, automation, and analytics.Experience designing and implementing scalable data architectures, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based data platforms.Strong knowledge of AI/ML techniques, predictive analytics, and automation frameworks.Experience with business intelligence tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Tableau, or Power BI.Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (SCM, ERP, Procurement, Planning) and supply chain concepts.Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder management experience.ResponsibilitiesThe role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities aimed at leveraging data and AI to optimize supply chain operations:Data Automation & AI Solutions: Design, build, and maintain scalable automation solutions supporting OCI’s global supply chain. Develop AI and machine learning models to enhance forecasting, inventory management, supply planning, logistics, manufacturing readiness, and operational performance. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes through predictive analytics and intelligent workflows. Build reusable frameworks and data products to improve operational efficiency and scalability. Evaluate emerging AI and automation technologies for practical application within supply chain processes.Data Engineering & Analytics: Develop robust data pipelines, models, and architectures that support real-time reporting and advanced analytics. Build scalable datasets for forecasting, planning, inventory control, and supplier performance metrics. Ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility across enterprise systems. Create dashboards, scorecards, and self-service analytics to enhance operational visibility. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data across Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and operational systems.Operational Intelligence: Develop operational dashboards, KPI frameworks, and control tower capabilities to provide end-to-end visibility into supply chain performance. Create intelligent alerting mechanisms to proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and exceptions. Build predictive models for scenario planning, capacity management, and deployment readiness. Translate complex operational data into actionable insights for day-to-day execution and strategic planning.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams including Supply Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Data Center Operations to understand business challenges and develop scalable technical solutions. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define analytics requirements and deliver impactful data solutions. Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise for automation initiatives and data projects. Influence best practices across the organization.Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve data quality, automation, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce technical debt, and enhance maintainability of data platforms. Document technical designs, data models, and automation solutions to support scalability.
