Project Manager

Responsibilities:Excellent employment opportunity for a Program Manager in the Gaithersburg, MD area.Support end to end strategic planning for their assigned TAPrimary duties include project management, training evaluation and reporting, identifying budget effectiveness strategies, program logistics, as well as organizational development.Ensure training and development standards are met for the assigned TA by cultivating strategic partnerships and ensuring all learners receive a consistent, best-in-class training experience to enhance the knowledge and skills required in the field.Provide standards development and oversight of those learning standards to both the internal OTD team as well as helping to enforce those standards with learners and their mangers.Oversee program management for assigned therapeutic area(s) asset development and deployment process ensuring timelines are on track and programs and effectively and efficiently rolled out to the field.Oversee executive reporting and analytics for their assigned therapeutic area(s) on an ongoing basis.Conducts program evaluation of training programs for their assigned TA to ensure effectiveness and that business needs were met by using a Kirkpatrick evaluation methodology.Provide strategic planning and training solutions that better the business and ensure best-in-class training programs are implemented across the salesforce as directed by TA needs.Provides strategic communication plans for assigned therapeutic area(s) as well as executes those communications through OTD mailbox, LMS system, or coordinating with business unit managers.Oversees training content asset management for assigned therapeutic area(s) and the knowledge management of those materials in the OTD master repository.Serves as lead LMS content administrator for assigned therapeutic area(s).Partners with the Learning Transformation & Operational Excellence team to leverage OTD wide systems and processes to ensure pull through in their assigned TAResearches, develops and disseminates best practices in adult learning, learner engagement, program evaluation, and organizational development.Experience:Bachelor's degree in a related field3 - 5 years' experience in the field of training, adult learning, operations management, or organizational development***Advanced degree in industrial organizational psychology, MBA, or a related field preferredFive (5) or more years' experience preferredExperience in a pharmaceutical business environment***Knowledge of instructional systems design preferredExperience in global markets preferredProject management experienceAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional team environmentStrong project management skills -- someone who can help organize/map out critical deliverables, then track those deliverablesKnowledge Management capabilitiesIT Saavy -- strong experience with MS Suite; aptitude to become familiar with internal company applicationsLearning Management System (LMS) experienceStrong customer-facing skillsAnalytical (basic BA skills)Credible understanding of company disease areas to align business acumen concepts with the impacts of therapeutic applicationsDemonstrated written and verbal communication skills to author content; translate and communicate business conceptsStrong project management skills; with demonstrated ability to focus on effective planning of submission of project deliverables and adherence to project milestones and final deadlinesDemonstrated ability to utilize widely-known business software applications (e.g. MS Office Suite) to organize, analyze and synthesize information
