Pre-Construction Consultant

The Pre-Construction Consultant (PCC) is a consultative, customer-facing role responsible for selling Entrusted’s reconstruction services through excellent estimating, problem-solving, and customer care. This position blends field work, relationship-based sales, and administrative follow-through, offering independence, growth, and meaningful impact.In this role, you’ll meet with homeowners after property damage, assess reconstruction needs, guide them through next steps, and set projects up for success. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact during the pre-construction phase—turning stressful situations into clear plans and confident decisions.No prior construction or restoration experience is required. We’re looking for individuals with strong communication skills, ownership mindset, and the drive to grow — we’ll teach you the rest.What a Typical Day Looks Like - Field & Office RoleWork hours are typically 7:45am–5:00pm, Monday–FridayConduct 2–3 on-site customer visits per dayFollow up with customers via phone, text, and emailComplete file care, documentation, and project setupCollaborate with supervisors and Project Managers to prepare files for construction handoffSplit time between the field and the office, with prep work often completed later in the dayWhat would I be doing?Meet with homeowners on-site to assess reconstruction needs and explain next steps following property damageServe as a consultative sales professional, presenting tailored reconstruction solutions and guiding clients through the pre-construction phaseDocument damages, photos, sketches, and scopes of work accurately and submit all required documentation within 1 business dayAct as the primary point of contact for customers during the estimating and file care phaseCommunicate consistently with clients via phone, text, and email to manage expectations and reduce cancellationsNavigate insurance processes and attend re-inspections when neededCollaborate closely with supervisors and Project Managers to ensure projects are set up for a smooth transition into constructionManage multiple active files at once while prioritizing customer experience and revenue outcomesTravel to customer homes, job sites, and meetings throughout the workdayParticipate in team meetings and provide regular updates on active projectsWhat does winning look like?Projects are accurately scoped, clearly documented, and handed off seamlessly to Project ManagersCustomers feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the pre-construction processCancellations are minimized through proactive communication and solution-oriented problem solvingRevenue goals are achieved through consultative selling and trusted relationshipsInsurance partners and adjusters view you as reliable, responsive, and professionalCustomers walk away feeling helped — not soldWhat skills does it take to win?Strong work ethic and extreme ownership mentalityClear, confident, and professional communication skillsComfort with consultative sales and goal-driven performanceEmpathy and ability to manage difficult or emotional conversationsOrganization and time management in a fast-paced, field-based roleProblem-solving mindset and ability to adapt quicklyBasic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Suite; Xactimate a plus but not required)Ability to work independently while collaborating with a larger teamWhat about compensation and benefits?We believe in rewarding performance while supporting our team members both personally and professionally.
