Industrial Journeyman Electricians & Apprentice/Helpers(TWIC Required)

Job Description Craftsmen Contractors is looking to hire Industrial Journeyman Electricians, Apprentices & experienced Electrician Helpers for the Pascagoula, Mississippi area. A current TWIC Card is required for these positions. This is for a 4-year project - new construction of a facility. Will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen before being hired. Weekly pay by direct deposit. No per diem is offered. Need to have some experience bending conduit (EMT & rigid).***The current work schedule is Monday through Sunday, working 10-hour day shifts and off every other Sunday (70 hours for 1 week and 60 hours for 1 week). If you are looking for overtime hours, this project is for you. If you are unable, cannot, or do not want to work overtime hours, this project is not for you.***Industrial Journeyman Electrician pay is $35/hour.Electrician Apprentice/Electrician Helper pay is $20/hour.Job Responsibilities:Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.Install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.Bend and install conduit.Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.Job Requirements:A current TWIC Card is required for all positions.Pass a pre-employment drug screen.Experience working as an Industrial Journeyman Electrician or at least 5 years of experience working as an Electrician is required, and at least 1 year of Electrician Apprentice/Electrician Helper experience is required, preferably in the industrial sector.Experience bending conduit (EMT & rigid).Need to have basic hand tools, all PPE, and reliable transportation.Authorized to work in the US.Work overtime hours.If you meet the above requirements and are available and interested, please respond to this job ad with your resume.Company DescriptionCraftsmen Contractors is a skilled staffing contractor that has helped customers complete projects on time since 2010.
